Join the fun to help families in need through the holidays at the 15th Annual Ride and Run With The Stars 2007

To Benefit: "Ride and Run With The Stars" proceeds benefit the Pinellas County Sheriff's Christmas Sharing Project, which helps crime victims, children and families through the holidays.

Cost: The registration fee for all participants is $20 until the day of the event. The entry fee on December 1, 2007 will be $25 per person. The fee includes a long-sleeve logo T-shirt, food and giveaways.

Participants who register early can receive their Ride packets by mail until November 21, 2007. After that, all packets will be available at Ft. DeSoto Park on the day of the Ride.

Grand Prizes: High quality bicycles.

Silent Auction: Bid on great sports gear, getaways and gift baskets.

"Everest Challenge" Climbing Wall: For all ages. Test your skills on the 25 foot “Everest Challenge” climbing wall.

Free Bike Rodeo: Children will learn safety tips and bike skills from deputy sheriffs. Those youngsters who have pre-registered for the Bike Rodeo or who are accompanied by a registered adult participant are eligible to receive a free "Ride & Run With the Stars" T-Shirt. Helmets are required for the Bike Rodeo. Deputies will check helmets for fit or provide the child with a new one.

5K Certified Race 8:30 a.m.
1 Mile Fun Walk/Skate 8:45 a.m.
Santa, Mrs. Santa & Elf Arrive 10:00 a.m.
Special Drawings & Presentation 10:15 a.m.
